TORONTO — The Dallas Wings continued their impressive 2026 season Sunday, defeating the Toronto Tempo 89-76 in the first-ever meeting between the franchises. The Dallas Wings improved to 13-8, the best 21-game start in franchise history.

Bueckers Continues Hot Scoring Streak
Paige Bueckers once again led the Dallas Wings offensively, scoring a game-high 22 points while adding seven assists and three rebounds. The All-Star guard has now scored at least 22 points in five consecutive games, the longest active streak in the WNBA.
Bueckers’ latest performance marked her 12th game with at least 20 points this season, further strengthening her standout sophomore campaign.
Balanced Offensive Effort
Ths Dallas Wings received production throughout its lineup as all five starters reached double figures. Rookie Azzi Fudd finished with 17 points, connecting on five shots from beyond the arc while adding three steals, two assists, three rebounds and a block. She became the only WNBA rookie this season with multiple games featuring at least five made 3-pointers.
Jessica Shepard continued to dominate the paint with her 12th double-double of the season, recording 14 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. Six of those boards came on the offensive glass, helping Dallas generate valuable second-chance opportunities.
Arike Ogunbowale chipped in 10 points, a season-high six rebounds, and two assists, while Awak Kuier added 10 points, six rebounds and matched her season high with three blocked shots.
Dallas Wings Controls the Glass
The Dallas Wings built their advantage by winning the battle in the paint and on the boards. Dallas outrebounded Toronto 42-35 and owned a commanding 20-6 edge in second-chance points. The Wings also outscored the Tempo 38-32 in the paint.
Dallas Wings shot 44 percent from the field and knocked down 10 three-pointers, while holding Toronto to just 38.9 percent shooting. The Tempo held a slight edge in fast-break points, but the Wings controlled nearly every other key statistical category in a wire-to-wire victory.
The balanced performance marked the seventh time this season that five Dallas Wings players scored in double figures. The Wings remain unbeaten in those games, improving to 7-0 when five players reach the 10-point mark.
