ARLINGTON, Texas — Former Arlington Renegades wide receiver Denzel Mims is heading back to the NFL after signing with the Dallas Cowboys.
Mims becomes the second Renegades player to earn an NFL contract during the UFL’s 2026 offseason signing period. The former Baylor standout appeared in five games for Arlington this season, recording six catches for 55 yards.
A second-round pick of the New York Jets in 2020, Mims has also spent time with the Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers. Across 30 NFL games, he totaled 42 receptions for 676 yards.
The Cowboys add a receiver with NFL experience and local ties, while the Renegades retain Mims’ UFL rights should he return to the league in the future.
