DENTON, Texas — The 2026 season is underway at North Texas, where a renewed sense of energy and determination defined the opening day of fall camp.
Junior wide receiver Barron Tipton, now in his third season with the Mean Green, expressed excitement about the offense and the opportunity to build on months of preparation.
Head coach Neil Brown said he has complete confidence in his players and emphasized the team’s commitment to improving every day as the foundation for a successful season.
Fifth-year linebacker Zach Highbarger also shared his confidence in the program, saying North Texas was the right place to spend his final year of college football because of its culture and coaching staff.
