ARLINGTON, Texas — The Dallas Wings are bringing in experience and defensive toughness, agreeing to terms with longtime WNBA forward Alysha Clark, the team announced Tuesday.
Clark, a three-time league champion, arrives in Dallas with more than a decade of proven production and versatility. The 5-foot-11 forward has carved out a reputation as one of the league’s most reliable two-way role players, known for her physical defense and efficient scoring.
Now entering her 13th season, Clark has logged time with Seattle, Washington and Las Vegas, building a résumé that places her among the league’s most seasoned active players. She is one of just a handful still competing with over 400 career games, appearing in 423 contests while averaging 6.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. She has also maintained an efficient 47.7% shooting clip across her career.
Last season, Clark split time between Seattle and Washington. She opened the year with the Storm, playing in 27 games before being dealt midseason to the Mystics, where she finished out the campaign.
For a Wings team looking to elevate its defensive identity and add leadership to the locker room, Clark’s arrival brings both postseason pedigree and consistency — traits that could prove valuable as Dallas pushes forward in a competitive Western Conference.
