Cowboys Waive Running Back Jaydon Blue

The Dallas Cowboys are moving on from running back Jaydon Blue as the team trims its roster ahead of the regular season.

Blue, a fifth-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft out of Texas, showed flashes of his explosiveness during the preseason but was unable to secure a spot in Dallas’ backfield.

The Cowboys are expected to lean on Javonte Williams, with Malik Davis emerging as a key option behind him.

Blue’s departure could mark the end of his time in Dallas, although the Cowboys could attempt to bring him back on the practice squad if he clears waivers.
