DALLAS — Dallas Trinity FC finally has its first victory of the 2026 fall season.
Dallas scored three times and kept Brooklyn FC off the scoreboard, earning a convincing 3-0 win at home.
Onyeka Gamero opened the scoring in the eighth minute, recording the first goal of her professional career. Camryn Lancaster picked up her second assist of the season on the play.
Seven Castain doubled the advantage with her second goal of the season before Jasmine Hamid added another to put Dallas firmly in control. Hamid’s goal was the 15th of her career.
The result also gave head coach Lee Nguyen his first career victory.
Dallas controlled 51.5% of possession and finished with 15 shots, including five on target. Brooklyn managed just five shots, with only one reaching the target.
Goalkeeper Neeku Purcell made one save to earn her first clean sheet of the season, while 15 Dallas players saw action.
“It was great to get our first win, especially at home in front of our fans,” Nguyen said. “Hopefully, we can continue to build on that.”
The victory moves Dallas to 4-2-3 all-time against Brooklyn FC.
Dallas Trinity FC returns to the Cotton Bowl on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 6:30 p.m. to host DC Power FC for College Night before beginning a four-game road trip.
