The Dallas Wings continued their late-season surge Sunday night, rolling past the Connecticut Sun 97-71 at College Park Center.
Dallas had four players score in double figures, led by Arike Ogunbowale with 18 points. Jessica Shepard added 17 points, while Paige Bueckers finished with 15 and Maddy Siegrist contributed 11.
The Wings built control early and never let Connecticut find a way back into the game. Dallas used its depth and offensive balance to pull away, turning a competitive opening stretch into a convincing victory.
The win gave the Wings their fourth straight victory and completed a season sweep of the Sun. Dallas improved to 24-16 with four regular-season games remaining.
The Wings will now head into the WNBA’s break for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup before returning to action Sept. 17 against the Los Angeles Sparks.
