GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Dallas Cowboys head to Arizona looking to keep their preseason momentum rolling.
Dallas enters Saturday night’s matchup against the Cardinals at 1-0 after opening the preseason with a victory over Seattle. A win at State Farm Stadium would give the Cowboys a 2-0 preseason record for the first time since 2007.
The Cowboys are also coming off a milestone of sorts. Their preseason-opening victory against Seattle was their first in an opener since 2017, ending a long stretch of slow starts to the exhibition schedule.
Arizona enters the game 1-1 in the preseason. The Cardinals defeated Las Vegas in their opener before falling to the Green Bay Packers.
Historically, Arizona has had the edge in the preseason series, holding a 5-1 advantage. The Cardinals won the most recent preseason meeting, 19-16, on Aug. 13, 2021.
The regular-season series tells a different story. Dallas holds a 56-35-1 advantage, although Arizona won the most recent meeting, 27-17, in Dallas on Nov. 3, 2025.
Saturday’s game gives Dallas another opportunity to evaluate its roster, develop younger players and build momentum heading into the final stages of training camp.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
