FC Dallas Edges Austin FC 2-1 Behind Musa’s Golden Boot Goal

AUSTIN, Texas — FC Dallas picked up a big road win Sunday night, beating Austin FC 2-1 behind another clutch performance from Petar Musa.

Musa scored in the 73rd minute for his 14th goal of the season, moving back into the MLS Golden Boot lead and giving Dallas its fifth road victory of 2026.

Lalas Abubakar opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time with his first goal of the season. Austin answered through 18-year-old Ervin Torres in the 57th minute before Musa delivered the deciding goal.

The victory marked FC Dallas’ first Sunday Night Soccer appearance of the season and added another important three points to its playoff push.
