CARSON, Calif. — FC Dallas picked up a valuable road point Saturday night, playing the LA Galaxy to a 0-0 draw in a tightly contested MLS matchup at Dignity Health Sports Park.
Dallas delivered a disciplined defensive performance to earn its clean sheet, limiting the Galaxy’s dangerous transition opportunities while creating several promising chances of its own. Neither side was able to produce the decisive finish despite stretches of end-to-end action.
Head coach Eric Quill praised his team’s defensive commitment after the match, noting Dallas stayed organized and honest in its transition play against a Galaxy side capable of striking quickly on the counterattack.
“We were solid defensively and handled their transition game well,” Quill said. “We had some good opportunities and were close a few times, but we just couldn’t find the final ball in the box. It was a hard-fought match, and earning a point here is something to build on.”
Both clubs generated quality looks throughout the evening, but strong defending and timely goalkeeping kept the scoreboard unchanged. The result gives Dallas a clean sheet on the road in one of MLS’s more difficult venues.
FC Dallas now shifts its attention from league play to the 2026 Leagues Cup, opening tournament action Wednesday against Liga MX club Querétaro FC before returning to the MLS schedule.
