North Texas continued its strong start in American Athletic Conference play Saturday, defeating Navy 49-39 in Annapolis, Maryland, to improve to 3-0 in conference competition.

The victory extends the Mean Green’s success against league opponents. North Texas has now won nine of its last 11 American Conference games over the past two seasons.

UNT will look to keep its momentum going next Thursday when the Mean Green take on Florida Atlantic (FAU). North Texas will aim to remain unbeaten in conference play and continue building its position in the American standings.
