PHILADELPHIA — The Dallas Cowboys got the kind of offensive performance they needed against a division rival.
Dak Prescott threw three touchdown passes, and Javonte Williams ran for a career-high 155 yards and a touchdown as Dallas beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 on Monday night.
Williams carried 25 times and averaged 6.2 yards per attempt, helping the Cowboys finish with 204 rushing yards. It was the most rushing yards by a Dallas player since Ezekiel Elliott ran for 159 against Tampa Bay in December 2016.
Williams also reached 100 rushing yards for the first time this season and extended his streak of road games with a rushing touchdown to six. Only Tony Dorsett, who scored in seven straight road games in 1977-78, has a longer streak in franchise history.
Prescott and Williams led an offense that scored a season-high 38 points. On defense, Quinnen Williams recorded a sack and three tackles for loss, matching his career high.
The win improved Dallas’ record to 9-5 in Monday night games against Philadelphia. The Cowboys have won nine of the teams’ last 11 Monday meetings.
