ARLINGTON, Texas — Paige Bueckers scored 25 points and the Dallas Wings extended their franchise-record winning streak to six games with a 90-82 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday at a sold-out College Park Center.
Dallas improved to 17-8, while Los Angeles dropped to 10-15.
Bueckers added five assists and four rebounds, including nine fourth-quarter points to help seal the win. Arike Ogunbowale finished with 20 points, while Jessica Shepard recorded her franchise-record 16th double-double of the season with 11 points, 14 rebounds and six assists. Rookie Azzi Fudd chipped in 11 points and three steals.
The Wings shot 49.3% from the field, outrebounded the Sparks 34-30 and held a 17-10 advantage in second-chance points.
Nneka Ogwumike led Los Angeles with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Dearica Hamby added 16 points.
Dallas will look to extend its winning streak Monday night when it hosts the New York Liberty at College Park Center.
