FRISCO, Texas — Entering his 11th NFL season, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott remains committed to growth, leadership and building team chemistry during offseason workouts.
Prescott said the focus during OTAs is maximizing every opportunity to improve while helping establish the culture being built under head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
“You’re either getting better or getting worse,” Prescott said.
Prescott praised the energy and communication of Dallas’ revamped defense, saying practices have been highly competitive. He also expects a breakout season from wide receiver Jalen Tolbert, who has taken advantage of increased reps this offseason.
The veteran quarterback highlighted the maturity of Dallas’ rookie class, including first-round pick Caleb Downs, and said Schottenheimer has encouraged greater player leadership throughout the organization.
Prescott also identified red-zone efficiency as a major area for improvement after the Cowboys struggled to finish drives consistently last season.
Despite entering Year 11, Prescott said his approach remains unchanged.
“If I’m doing it, everybody should do it,” Prescott said. “That’s how you stay in this league.”
