ARLINGTON, Texas — The Texas Rangers continued their strong stretch Sunday afternoon, blasting four home runs and backing another dominant outing from Jacob deGrom in a 10-0 rout of the Cleveland Guardians at Globe Life Field.

The victory secured Texas’ third consecutive series win, marking the club’s best run of series success this season. The Rangers have now won seven of their last nine games and remain one of baseball’s hottest teams heading into the week.

Texas wasted little time setting the tone. Justin Foscue launched a two-run homer in the opening inning, giving the Rangers an early lead they never surrendered. The offense stayed aggressive throughout the afternoon, piling up 16 hits and matching a season high with seven extra-base hits.

Josh Jung added a solo homer in the third inning, while Wyatt Langford followed with a leadoff blast in the fourth. Texas capped its power display with four home runs, its highest total at home this season.

Meanwhile, deGrom was in complete control.

The veteran right-hander earned the 101st victory of his career after tossing six scoreless innings. He allowed just three hits, walked two, and struck out six before exiting after 87 pitches.

One of deGrom’s biggest moments came in the fifth inning when he escaped a bases-loaded threat by striking out José Ramírez. He finished his afternoon by striking out the side in the sixth, lowering his home ERA to 1.26 through six starts in Arlington this season.

Ezequiel Duran fueled the offense with a career-tying four-hit performance and three RBIs. His two-run double highlighted a four-run third inning that stretched Texas’ lead to 5-0, and he later added an RBI single in the eighth.

Jung finished 2-for-4 with a homer and a walk, extending his hitting streak to five games and raising his average to .313. Langford’s fourth-inning homer left the bat at 111.3 mph, the hardest-hit Rangers home run at Globe Life Field this season. He has now reached base safely in 14 straight games, the longest streak by a Ranger in 2026.

Foscue’s first-inning blast continued his success against left-handed pitching, while Jake Burger snapped an 0-for-18 skid with three hits and an RBI.

Cleveland never generated consistent offense, managing just six hits while suffering its sixth shutout loss of the season.

Guardians starter Joey Cantillo took the loss after allowing seven runs on nine hits over five innings. The left-hander surrendered three home runs and saw his ERA climb after another difficult outing.

Steven Kwan provided a bright spot for Cleveland, collecting two hits and finishing the series 5-for-10.

The Rangers recorded their eighth shutout victory of the season, tying for the most in Major League Baseball, and matched their largest margin of victory in a shutout this year. Texas will look to carry its momentum into its next series as the club continues to climb in the American League standings.
