DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks have re-signed center Moussa Cissé, keeping one of the team’s emerging young rim protectors in the fold.
The 23-year-old averaged 4.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 38 games during his rookie season, finishing third among NBA rookies in blocks per game.
Cissé capped the season with a career-best performance against Chicago, recording 17 points and 20 rebounds, tying the Mavericks’ rookie franchise record for rebounds in a game.
After earning a role as an undrafted rookie, Cissé gives Dallas added size, rebounding and defensive depth as the team prepares for the 2026-27 season.
