ARLINGTON, Texas — Paige Bueckers scored a season-high 27 points and added eight assists, but the Dallas Wings came up short Thursday night in a 90-86 loss to the Minnesota Lynx at College Park Center.
Dallas (1-2) stayed competitive throughout the night behind strong ball movement and bench production, finishing with 22 assists and a 29-4 advantage in bench scoring.
Maddy Siegrist provided a major spark off the bench with 17 points in 16 minutes, scoring all of her points in the first half. Odyssey Sims added 11 points, while Azzi Fudd chipped in a career-high eight points in front of the home crowd.
Minnesota (2-1) shot 60.3 percent from the field and controlled the paint, outscoring Dallas 48-40 inside while adding 18 second-chance points.
The Wings close out their homestand Monday night against the Washington Mystics.
