Stars Bounce Back, Beat Wild 4-2 to Even Series

DALLAS, Texas — Dallas Stars responded in a big way Monday night, defeating the Minnesota Wild 4-2 to even their first-round series at one game apiece.

Wyatt Johnston led the charge with two goals, reaching 20 in his playoff career before age 23. Jason Robertson added his 20th postseason goal, extending his strong track record against Minnesota.

Defenseman Miro Heiskanen recorded his 50th career playoff assist, while Matt Duchene chipped in a goal and an assist. Nils Lundkvist contributed two assists in his first multi-point playoff game.

In net, Jake Oettinger delivered a strong bounce-back performance, helping Dallas lock things down early and anchor a much-improved penalty kill.

Head coach Glen Gulutzan picked up his first career playoff win as the Stars showed better structure, discipline, and execution.

The series now shifts to Minnesota tied 1-1.
