Record Shooting Night Lifts Lynx Past Wings 103-90

MINNEAPOLIS — The Dallas Wings couldn’t overcome a historic shooting performance from Kayla McBride, falling 103-90 to the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday at Target Center.

The game was tied 66-66 late in the third quarter before Minnesota closed on a 37-24 run to complete a four-game season sweep. Dallas dropped to 19-14, while the league-leading Lynx improved to 27-7.

Paige Bueckers led the Wings with 23 points and eight assists, while Aziaha James scored a season-high 19 points off the bench. Odyssey Sims added 17 points in her first start since July 20.

McBride finished with 43 points and set a new WNBA record by making 10 three-pointers. Minnesota connected on 18 shots from beyond the arc, tying the most three-pointers ever made against the Wings in a game.

Dallas returns home Wednesday to face the Toronto Tempo at College Park Center.
