FRISCO, Texas (AP) — The Dallas Stars added future draft capital Wednesday, acquiring Nashville’s second-round pick in the 2027 NHL Draft and the Vegas Golden Knights’ third-round selection in 2028 from the Nashville Predators.
In return, Dallas sent forward Mavrik Bourque and defenseman Ilya Lyubushkin to Nashville.
The move gives the Stars additional draft assets and increased salary-cap flexibility as general manager Jim Nill continues shaping the roster for the 2026-27 season. Nashville adds a promising young forward in Bourque and a veteran presence on defense with Lyubushkin.
