ARLINGTON, Texas — The Dallas Wings delivered one of their most impressive performances of the season Monday night, cruising to a 96-66 victory over the Las Vegas Aces before a sold-out crowd at College Park Center.
Arike Ogunbowale led Dallas with 22 points and seven assists, while Jessica Shepard posted 15 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists, narrowly missing a triple-double. Rookie Azzi Fudd added 19 points on an efficient 8-of-9 shooting night.
The Wings shot 49.3% from the field, held Las Vegas to a season-low 66 points, and committed just eight turnovers. The 30-point win was Dallas’ largest margin of victory ever against the Aces.
With the win, Dallas improved to 9-5 and secured its second victory over Las Vegas this season, handing the Aces half of their four losses. Jewell Loyd led Las Vegas with 21 points.
The Wings continue their road trip Wednesday against the Golden State Valkyries.
