Ogunbowale’s 30 Points Lead Wings Past Sparks for Fourth Straight Win

LOS ANGELES — Arike Ogunbowale scored a season-high 30 points as the Dallas Wings defeated the Los Angeles Sparks 104-96 on Friday night at Crypto.com Arena.

The win improved Dallas to 7-3 and extended its winning streak to four games, the franchise’s longest since 2023.

Paige Bueckers recorded her first double-double of the season with 18 points and a career-high 14 assists, tying the Wings’ single-game franchise record. Jessica Shepard added 22 points, 15 rebounds and five assists for her sixth double-double of the year, while Maddy Siegrist scored 16 points and Azzi Fudd chipped in 11.

Dallas shot 53.2 percent from the field, made a season-high 41 baskets and matched its season best with 30 assists.

Kelsey Plum paced Los Angeles with 27 points and six assists, while Nneka Ogwumike finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Wings improved to 2-0 in Commissioner’s Cup play and will next face the Minnesota Lynx on Tuesday.
