CHICAGO — Jessica Shepard recorded the first WNBA triple-double of the season Wednesday night, leading the Dallas Wings to a 99-89 win over the Chicago Sky at Wintrust Arena.
Shepard finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and a career-high 12 assists as Dallas improved to 3-2 with its second straight victory. Paige Bueckers scored a game-high 24 points, while Arike Ogunbowale added a season-high 23, including four 3-pointers.
Dallas shot 50 percent from the field and outrebounded Chicago 36-30. Azzi Fudd chipped in 12 points off the bench.
Kamilla Cardoso scored 24 points for the Sky, who dropped to 3-2 on the season.
The Wings continue their road trip Friday against the Atlanta Dream.
