The Dallas Mavericks will make the ninth overall selection in the 2026 NBA Draft, marking the franchise’s second straight year picking inside the top 10 for the first time since the 2017 and 2018 drafts.
Dallas enters the offseason looking to continue building its young core after another year of roster adjustments and long-term planning. Holding a top-10 pick once again gives the Mavericks an opportunity to add another impact player as the organization works toward returning to contention in the Western Conference.
The 2026 NBA Draft is scheduled for June 23-24 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The first round will take place on Tuesday night, followed by the second round on Wednesday.
