ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Minnesota Wild seized momentum Saturday night, holding off the Dallas Stars for a 3-2 win in Game 4 to even their first-round NHL playoff series.
Minnesota delivered in key moments, pairing opportunistic scoring with a steady defensive finish to protect a narrow lead late. Dallas pressed in the closing minutes and pulled within a goal, but couldn’t find the equalizer against a disciplined Wild unit.
The Stars had a chance to take command of the series but instead head home with things reset. With the best-of-seven now tied 2-2, the series shifts back to Dallas for a pivotal Game 5, where control of the matchup will once again be on the line.
