Stars Rally Late to Top Senators in Overtime

OTTAWA — Roope Hintz played hero Tuesday night, scoring just over three minutes into overtime to give the Dallas Stars a 3-2 comeback win over the Ottawa Senators.

Down 2-0 early, Dallas rallied behind goals from Mikko Rantanen and Jason Robertson, who tied it on a power play in the third. Jake Oettinger locked in after the first period, finishing with 27 saves, while Linus Ullmark stopped 30 shots for Ottawa.

The win snapped the Stars’ eight-game losing streak in Ottawa, marking their first victory there since 2017.

Next up: Dallas travels to Montreal on Thursday.
