DALLAS, Texas — The Dallas Mavericks have parted ways with general manager and president of basketball operations Nico Harrison, effective immediately.
Former Mavericks star Michael Finley and assistant general manager Matt Riccardi will serve as co-interim general managers while the team conducts a search for Harrison’s replacement.
Harrison, hired in 2021, guided Dallas to the Western Conference Finals in 2022 and an NBA Finals appearance in 2024. Finley has been part of the Mavericks’ front office since 2017, while Riccardi, a Plano native, joined the organization in 2022 after a decade with the Brooklyn Nets.
