ARLINGTON, Texas — Paige Bueckers erased a scoreless first half with a dominant second-half performance, scoring all 22 of her points after halftime to lead the Dallas Wings past the Toronto Tempo 94-88 on Wednesday night at College Park Center.
Bueckers shot 7 of 11 from the field in the second half and went 7-for-7 at the free-throw line. She also finished with eight assists, three steals and three rebounds.
Arike Ogunbowale added 21 points and five assists, while Alanna Smith recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Awak Kuier scored 14 points off 6-of-9 shooting.
The victory moved Dallas to 20-14 and marked just the second 20-win season in franchise history. The Wings also completed a three-game sweep of Toronto, which fell to 10-23.
Marina Mabrey led Toronto with 23 points.
Dallas returns to the road Friday against the Indiana Fever. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
