ARLINGTON, Texas — Behind a record-setting performance from Jessica Shepard, the Dallas Wings rallied from a 13-point deficit to defeat the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces 95-87 on Thursday night at a sold-out College Park Center.
Shepard finished with 22 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists, becoming the first player in WNBA history to record at least 22 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists in a game. It marked her second triple-double in the last eight days.
Rookie Azzi Fudd shined in her first career start, scoring 22 points for her second straight 20-point outing, while Paige Bueckers added 20 points and six assists. Awak Kuier chipped in 12 points off the bench.
Dallas (5-3) dominated the second half, outscoring Las Vegas 50-34 after halftime while shooting 52.9 percent from the field. The Wings also won the rebounding battle 39-33 to secure their first victory over the Aces since August 2024.
The Wings return to action Monday night against the Seattle Storm at College Park Center.
