BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Dallas Wings continued their strong road start Sunday, knocking off the New York Liberty 91-76 at Barclays Center to improve to 4-3 on the season.
Rookie Azzi Fudd delivered a breakout performance with a career-high 24 points, including 17 in the third quarter. Fudd also knocked down six 3-pointers, the most ever by a rookie in franchise history.
Paige Bueckers added 24 points and six rebounds, while Arike Ogunbowale finished with 19 points and five assists while hitting five shots from beyond the arc.
Dallas shot 46.2 percent from the floor and connected on a season-high 15 3-pointers. Jessica Shepard recorded her fourth double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Satou Sabally led New York with 20 points, while Breanna Stewart added 14 points and 11 rebounds.
The Wings return home Thursday to face the Las Vegas Aces.
