DALLAS — The Dallas Stars have made a move to strengthen their defensive corps, acquiring defenseman Jeremie Poirier from the Calgary Flames in exchange for fellow blueliner Gavin White.
Poirier, known for his mobility and puck-moving ability, adds depth and flexibility to a Stars defense corps that has been looking to balance youth with experience. White, meanwhile, heads to Calgary in a swap that addresses both teams’ organizational needs.
This trade reflects Dallas’ ongoing effort to sharpen its roster ahead of a playoff push, giving the team more options on the back end and reinforcing a commitment to strong defensive play.
