Wings Look To Take A Win Against Aces In Game 2 of The WNBA Semi-Finals

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA- The Dallas Wings will take Michelob Ultra Arena again Tuesday night for game two of the semi-finals against the reigning WNBA Champions: The Las Vegas Aces.

The Dallas Wings are coming off a 83-97 loss to the Aces during game one Sunday afternoon.

The Las Vegas Aces dominated on home court. The Wings were able to keep up in the first half with a 4-point deficit, 45-49, but lost momentum after halftime.

The Aces honed in on defending Dallas scorers: Satou Sabally and Arike Ogunbowale. Las Vegas held Sabally to only 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assist. Ogunbowale added 12 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assist.

Going into game two the Wings will need valuable minutes off the bench like they did Sunday evening. Dallas’s bench outscored the Aces 27-4.

Maddy Siegrist put up 7 points and 1 steal. Kalani Brown added 10 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist and 3 steals. And Odyssey Sims put up 10 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal.

The Dallas Wings shot 43.7% from the field (37-71), went 9-21 in three-points shots and made 12-18 free-throw attempts. Vegas shot 53.6% from the field, made 10-23 3-point attempts and shot 100% from the free-throw line.

The Wings will have to do a better job with turnovers going into Tuesday night’s matchup. Dallas had 12 turnovers that gave Vegas the chance to capitalize and score 21-points.

These two teams will go head-to-head on Tuesday night in Las Vegas, tip-off is at 9 pm.
