HARTFORD, Conn. — Paige Bueckers scored 11 of her game-high 25 points in the fourth quarter as the Dallas Wings rallied from a 14-point deficit to defeat the Connecticut Sun 86-83 on Thursday night at PeoplesBank Arena.
The win improved Dallas to 12-8, while Connecticut dropped to 4-16.
Bueckers also finished with seven rebounds and seven assists, extending her career-best streak to four consecutive games with at least 25 points. Jessica Shepard added 14 points—all in the second half—while Alanna Smith chipped in a season-high 11 points and knocked down two 3-pointers.
Dallas shot 48.5 percent from the field and held the edge in second-chance points (9-6), fast-break points (7-3) and bench scoring (29-24). Despite leading for less than four minutes, the Wings closed the game with a strong fourth-quarter surge to complete the comeback.
Leïla Lacan led Connecticut with 18 points, while Brittney Griner recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
The Wings continue their road trip Sunday with a matchup against the Toronto Tempo.
