ARLINGTON, Texas — Dallas Wings rookie guard Paige Bueckers added another milestone to her standout debut season, earning a spot on the All-WNBA Second Team — the only rookie honored this year.
The No. 1 overall pick averaged 19.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 1.6 steals while shooting 47.7% from the field. She was the only player in the league to rank in the top nine in scoring (5th), assists (9th), and steals (6th).
Bueckers set multiple rookie and franchise records, including the most points (692) and assists (194) by a Wings rookie and the highest single-game scoring mark ever by a WNBA rookie with 44 points against the Sparks.
She also became just the 10th rookie to start a WNBA All-Star Game, setting a record with over 805,000 fan votes.
Her selection marks the eighth All-WNBA honor in Wings history and the first ever by a rookie.
