DALLAS, TEXAS — The Dallas Mavericks scored 144 points in the win against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night marking a new franchise-high points scored against the Clippers and tying for the 11th most points scored against them all-time by any teams.
Luka Dončić had a game high 44 points (17-21 FG, 6-9 3FG, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, six assists and one steal. His .810 field goal percentage marks the highest of his career.
Dončić on the added pressure of the NBA In-Season Tournament games, “We don’t have many games for this In-Season Tournament, so it’s good that we got to pull this one out. Every game matters and obviously we have a lot of [regular season] games, but I think our start has been great.”
