DALLAS, Texas — The Dallas Mavericks have waived Seth Lundy and John Poulakidas as the team continues to shape its roster ahead of the 2026-27 NBA season.
Lundy appeared in all four preseason games, averaging 5.5 points in 12 minutes per contest while shooting 46.6% from the field. Poulakidas averaged 7.0 points in three preseason appearances and shot 45.5% from beyond the arc.
The moves reduce Dallas’ roster count and open spots as the organization finalizes its personnel for the regular season. Lundy and Poulakidas were competing for opportunities in a crowded roster picture, with Dallas evaluating its available options ahead of opening night.
The Mavericks will continue making roster decisions as they prepare for the start of the regular season.
