FRISCO, Texas — The Dallas Stars have signed veteran forward David Perron to a one-year, $850,000 contract for the 2026-27 NHL season.
Perron, 38, brings nearly two decades of NHL experience to Dallas. He recorded 13 goals and 15 assists in 65 games last season while splitting time between the Ottawa Senators and Detroit Red Wings.
A first-round pick in the 2007 NHL Draft, Perron has totaled 812 points in 1,239 regular-season games. He also brings championship experience, having won the Stanley Cup with the St. Louis Blues in 2019.
The signing adds veteran leadership and offensive depth to a Stars team looking to strengthen its roster for another postseason run.
