FRISCO, Texas — The Cowboys don’t necessarily need a historically dominant defense. They need a dependable one.
If Christian Parker can turn the defense into a league-average unit—or better—the impact could extend throughout the roster. Dallas could play with leads more often, avoid constantly chasing points and put its offense in better situations.
After everything the Cowboys changed this offseason, the question is no longer whether the defense will look different.
It will.
