GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Dallas Cowboys continued their strong preseason Saturday night, rolling past the Arizona Cardinals 34-13.
Quarterback Joe Milton III delivered another impressive performance, completing 9 of 13 passes for 176 yards and two touchdowns while adding a rushing score. His performance further strengthened his case in the competition for Dallas’ backup quarterback job.
The Cowboys led 24-6 at halftime and got contributions on both sides of the ball, including an interception by cornerback Shavon Revel that helped set up an early touchdown.
Sam Howell played the second half, finishing 7 of 10 for 65 yards with one interception.
Dallas improved to 2-0 in the preseason as the Cowboys continue preparations for the regular season.
