DALLAS, TEXAS — The Mavericks will tip off their 45th anniversary season at home against Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs on Oct. 22 (8:30 p.m. CT, ESPN). It’s the third straight opener vs. San Antonio and the second in a row at American Airlines Center.
Dallas starts with a franchise-record five-game homestand, featuring the defending champion Thunder (Oct. 27) and Eastern champ Pacers (Oct. 29), before heading to Mexico City to face the Pistons on Nov. 1 — their first game there since 2019.
The Mavs will play 23 nationally televised games, including eight on NBC/Peacock, five on Amazon Prime, and five on ESPN. After a home-heavy start, February brings a season-long six-game road trip and 13 of 17 away from home.
Other highlights: Christmas Day at Golden State, the NBA Cup beginning Nov. 7 in Memphis, and multiple home dates against every 2024-25 West playoff team. Big East opponents visiting Dallas include the Bucks (Nov. 10), Knicks (Nov. 19), Celtics (Feb. 3), and Cavaliers (March 13).
