DALLAS, TEXAS — The Dallas Mavericks announced they’ve re-signed nine-time All-Star Kyrie Irving, keeping a key piece of their core intact. Per team policy, terms were not disclosed.
Irving averaged 24.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.6 assists last season while shooting 47.3% from the field, 40.1% from three, and 91.6% from the line — the only player league-wide to post 20+ points on 45/40/90 shooting.
Since joining Dallas in 2023, Irving has averaged 25.5 points — the second-highest in franchise history (min. 100 games). He played a vital role in the Mavericks’ 2024 NBA Finals run, marking his fourth trip to the championship stage.
A former No. 1 overall pick and 2016 NBA champion, Irving continues to add to a decorated résumé that includes All-NBA honors, Olympic gold, and a 50-40-90 season. His return keeps Dallas in the hunt for a title.
