Grizzlies Blow Out Mavericks 132-97 in Season Finale

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — With both teams locked into their play-in spots, the Memphis Grizzlies rolled past the Dallas Mavericks 132-97 in Sunday’s regular-season finale, led by a career-high 31 points from Lamar Stevens and 25 points, 11 rebounds from Marvin Bagley III.

Resting key players, both squads gave extended minutes to their reserves. Memphis made the most of it, pulling away in the second half with a 65-43 scoring edge after the break.

Cam Spencer added 23 points and Jay Huff scored 22 for the Grizzlies. Yuki Kawamura dazzled in the second quarter with a pair of flashy assists, including a behind-the-back dime and a through-the-legs bounce pass on the break.

Daniel Gafford led Dallas with 20 points, Jaden Hardy had 17, and Max Christie added 14. The Mavericks have lost four of their last five heading into the play-in.

What’s next:
Memphis faces Golden State on Tuesday. Dallas visits Sacramento on Wednesday.
