Mavericks pick Duke’s Center Dereck Lively II at No. 12 in The 2023 NBA draft

DALLAS, TEXAS — The Dallas Mavericks trade their 10th pick and Davis Bertans to the Oklahoma Thunder, and select Center Dereck Lively II (7-1, 210) as the 12th pick in the first round from Duke.

Lively II spent last year attending Duke University, where he averaged 5.2 points (.658 FG%), 5.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game.
