Dallas Mavericks Fall To Cleveland Cavaliers, 105-90

DALLAS, TEXAS — It was a rough start and a rough ending for the Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs suffered a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-90. The Dallas defense struggled this game. The Cavs were able to score 52 points in the paint, shoot 78% from the free throw line, and the their largest lead over the Mavs was by 23 points.

Donovan Mitchell led the Cavs by 34 points, 3 rebounds, and assists. While Luka Doncic led the Mavs with 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.

Following the game Luka Doncic was asked what really happened in the first half and why they struggled so much? Doncic commented,” we just had a slow start,we had a hard time getting to that paint, and Clevland is just a really good team.” Mavs head coach Jason Kidd also stated, “I just think that we just couldn’t get in sync. We just couldn’t put the ball in the basket.”

Dallas will be back at home this Friday night before hitting the road for a 4 game road stretch.
