Dallas Wings vs Chicago Sky Preview

ARLINGTON, TX- The 11-13 Wings are back in Arlington as they will host the 18-6 Chicago Sky, Saturday night at the College Park Center.

These two teams haven’t seen each other in the regular season so far, but the last time they played was April 25th where the Wings won 92-77. The 11-13 Wings will come into tonight’s game after Thursday night’s 92-97 win against the Minnesota Lynx.

Dallas is shooting 42.1 percent from the field so far this season, averaging 81.6 points per game and 34.7 rebounds. Their defense is ranked 6th in the league this season as they are allowing 82 points per game. Arike Ogunbowale continues to be the star for the Wings as she averages 19.7 points per game, after her 32-point game against the Lynx.

Chicago Sky is sitting in first place in the Eastern Conference with an 18-6 record. Chicago is averaging 85.8 points per game, shooting 47.9 percent from the field. Their leader scorer Kahleah Copper averaged 14.2 so far this season while Candace Parker snags 8.9 rebounds.

Both teams are coming off of wins in their previous games, but it will be how the defense is played that will determine who will come out on top. Tonight’s match up begins at 7 P.M CT and will be broadcasted on Ballys Sports Southwest and CBSSN.
