SMU Men’s Basketball Host Northwestern State Tonight

DALLAS, Texas — SMU Men’s Basketball will host Northwestern State Monday night in Moody Coliseum. The Mustangs are 1-1, with a win over McNeese and a loss at Oregon. The Demons are 1-2 with loses to Oklahoma and Tulsa and a win over Champion Christian College.

SMU leads the American in preseason honors, several of those going to point-guard Kendric Davis. SMU has a new roster with several transfers, many of which deserve to play according to head coach, Tim Jankovich. Returner, Emmanual Bandoumel had a good game against Oregon, hitting 4 3-pointers, and scoring 14 points for the Mustangs. SMU will likely be able to rotate and see how different lineups work together.

To date, the Mustangs are undefeated in the series against Northwestern State, winning all 7 match ups since 1953. The game will be available online on ESPN+ and KAAM 770 am radio.
