DALLAS — SMU delivered one of its sharpest ACC performances of the season Saturday night, rolling past Boston College 94-70 at Moody Coliseum.
The Mustangs (19-8, 8-6 ACC) shot 55.7% from the field, handed out 22 assists and committed a season-low four turnovers while winning for the fourth time in five games. The 24-point margin marked SMU’s largest ACC victory this season.
Six players scored in double figures, led by Jermaine O’Neal Jr.’s 16 points. B.J. Edwards added 15, while Jaron Pierre Jr. finished with 13 points and six assists, pushing his career total past 2,000.
Boopie Miller scored 11 points, extending his double-digit streak to 34 straight games — the longest by a Mustang in at least 25 years.
SMU dominated inside (46-20 points in the paint) and in transition (18-4 fastbreak points), improving to 15-2 at home before a pivotal three-game stretch to close the regular season.
