FORT WORTH, Texas — TCU saved its best basketball for the final minutes Tuesday night.
The Horned Frogs closed the game on a decisive 10-0 run, erasing a nine-point deficit and pulling out a 68-65 win over Oklahoma State at Schollmaier Arena. The rally extended TCU’s home dominance in the series, marking its eighth straight win over the Cowboys in Fort Worth.
TCU improved to 9-4 at home this season and continued its recent grip on Oklahoma State, winning 12 of the last 16 meetings overall. Under head coach Jamie Dixon, the Frogs moved to 125-44 at Schollmaier Arena, including a strong 48-36 mark in Big 12 play.
The difference came on the glass and in the paint. TCU outrebounded Oklahoma State 39-35 and shot more efficiently from the field, a formula that has consistently paid off during Dixon’s tenure.
David Punch and Xavier Edmonds anchored the comeback. Punch matched his career high with 22 points and added 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season, while Edmonds chipped in 18 points and a season-best 10 boards, recording his first double-double as a Horned Frog. It marked the first time since 2021 that TCU had two players post double-doubles in the same game.
Brock Harding quietly directed the offense, finishing with a game-high nine assists, and Liutauras Lelevicius added 10 points and six rebounds to help steady TCU during the closing stretch.
Oklahoma State had control late, but the Frogs locked in defensively and capitalized on key possessions down the stretch, sealing another home win in a building that continues to be unkind to the Cowboys.
