FRISCO, Texas — FC Dallas kept its hot streak alive with a 3-1 win over the Colorado Rapids at Toyota Stadium on Hispanic and Latino Heritage Night. Petar Musa opened the scoring with a 14th-minute header off Logan Farrington’s assist, matching his career-high 16 goals for the season.
“To be honest, I didn’t know that, it’s fantastic that I scored my 16th goal of the season. But for me, it’s most important to win today and we take three points at home. Yeah, I’m very happy and proud of this team, how we played the last couple games. This is what everyone wants,” Musa said.
Christian Cappis, a midseason addition, scored his first goal for Dallas in the 36th minute to put the team ahead 2-1, assisted by Patrickson Delgado. The third goal came courtesy of a Colorado own goal off a Pedrinho shot in the 80th minute.
Dallas extends its unbeaten run to six games overall, four at home, and has scored in nine straight matches. With the win, FC Dallas climbs to ninth in the Western Conference, showing signs of momentum as the season heads into its final stretch.
