SMU’s Jennings Named to Davey O’Brien Watch List

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings has been named to the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award Watch List, recognizing the top returning QBs in college football.

Jennings led SMU to an 11-3 season in 2024, including a perfect 8-0 record in ACC play. He threw for 3,245 yards and ranked top-20 nationally in passing efficiency and yards per attempt.

This is his fifth preseason honor of 2025. Semifinalists will be announced Nov. 12, with the winner revealed Dec. 11 on ESPN.
